Buckminster Fuller

Bucky Fuller visited at VA TECH college of Architecture around 1973 or 1974, lecturing for 2 to 3 hours in Burrus Hall auditorium. Many of the students in all classes attended the lecture, called, I believe, “Thinking Out Loud”, which it was. He tended to drift in and out of topics, seeming to digress, but always returning to a consistent thread. I sat in the 3rd or 4th row, using a Leica M2 and the ever reliable 90mm summicron, with 3200 speed film, processed in Rodinal (I still remember). The images are more or less, but not literally, in chronological order. His energy and passion for the world and his own pursuits were memorable.
